Our Story

Dayton Acoustics, Inc. has a long history of investing in the foundation and improvement of the Miami Valley. Since our start, we have always valued consistency, a strong work ethic, and a job well done.

1963

John Snyder starts his career in commercial construction with Lloyd Greenwood and Assoc.

1983

John Snyder and Steve Deisher start Dayton Acoustics, Inc.

Office building from 1985 to 1989.

1988

Clark joins the family business working in the field.

Clark on the job with team member, Bob, in 1990. Bob still works for Dayton Acoustics, Inc. and is one of our lead carpenters.

1989

Steve leaves DAI to pursue other opportunities.

1992

Clark transitions from the field to the front office as a part of the sales and management team.

1993

Dayton Acoustics, Inc. celebrates 10 years in business.

2003

Dayton Acoustics, Inc. celebrates 20 years in business.

Our front office manager, Scharlene Deaton, who was a part of our team from 1985 to 2002.

2004

Erik begins working in the field.

2007

Clark and Erik purchase Dayton Acoustics, Inc.

John Snyder retires from Dayton Acoustics, Inc. after 44 years of faithfully serving the Miami Valley.

2013

Dayton Acoustics, Inc. celebrates 30 years of serving the Miami Valley area.

2019

Clark and Erik purchase a new building for DAI with an attached rentable building and form CES Properties One LLC.

New office space under construction.

2020

Dayton Acoustics, Inc. moves to their new location on Stanley Avenue. Along with this new building for Dayton Acoustics comes a space available for rent to another small to mid-sized business located in Dayton Ohio.

2023

Dayton Acoustics, Inc. celebrates 40 years of serving Dayton, Ohio and Surrounding Areas.
